Build your garage storage unit from scratch from our high quality shelving units, or add-on to an existing shelving system. Our garage storage shelving is available in a wide range of sizes, options, with many accessories available. Excalibur’s garage storage shelving units have a smooth finish on all sides.
Excalibur’s garage storage shelving units are built with shelves ranging in depth from 12 to 24 inches (see chart for exact depths); lengths from 24 to 48 inches (see chart for exact depths); shelving uprights from 12 to 24 inches (see chart for exact depths); and garage shelving heights come in one foot increments that range from 3 to 9 feet. Our garage storage shelving units can be equipped with the following options: steel kick plates, fire retardant paint, and shelf support channels. Garage storage units can also be easily configured into work desks and tables.
To ensure our garage shelving units are easy to install and offer maximum versatility, Excalibur garage storage shelving systems offer the following components: 16 gauge galvanized steel vertical channels; 3, 4, or 5 horizontal spreaders made of 1 inch by 4 inch solid pine; and shelf slots located at 2 inch intervals. Our garage shelving units have no joints or seams, all galvanized steel ends are crimped for easy attachment, and no connectors or tools are required for assembly.
For safety and stability, Excalibur garage shelving units require the use of our x-braces in certain applications. Our x-braces are constructed of two 18 gauge by ¾ inch wide galvanized strips. X-braces are required on any free standing garage storage shelving unit, as well as on every other unit in a run of our garage shelving units. Hang-rod assemblies for garage storage shelving units are also available.
